I just have to say how fabulous my parents are to me and to Kaiya (not to mention all the other people they love)! Having them close by is so wonderful! Kaiya loves being around them . . . and shockingly she has become as much a Granddad's girl as a Grammy's girl! No one thought they would see the day . . . well, maybe we all knew it would come!
This past week, little Kaiya went on a big adventure to the DUMP with Granddad, and to Uncle Cary's to plant trees!! On a stop over back to the house, she was offered staying and playing with Grammy. She turned that offter down, and even an offer that followed it up with a Grammy plus a "treat." She has become a little buddy of Granddad's . . . little cousin M1 is gonna have some competition . . . ha ha! Or maybe some company I should say instead . . . M1 loves having Kaiya around and I am sure will just show her the ropes of being a Granddad's buddy!! I have a few cute pictures on my mom's camera of the adventure . . . I will have to get them from her and post them later!! They took a fun trip to the dump and saw the GREAT BIG HOLE in the ground, sprayed out the back of the truck, helped plant trees at Uncle Cary's, and just had a good time running around outside!! I do think she probably drove Granddad and Uncle Cary close to nuts from all her "Why?" questions . . . however, if she did, they never let on (with the exception of telling me about how she has a WHY? for near everything)!! She is a smart cookie and loves helping outside!!
Grammy continues to be the UP FOR ANYTHING let's play Grammy she has always been!! As always, she just goes along with whatever the idea is at the moment! From putting on the silly clown wig, playing babies, giant bubble baths, oreos and milk before bed, reading books, flying kites, racing in the backyard, and the whole nine yards, she is up for anything!! All the things that make her granddaughters love her!!
