Saturday we had a very very busy day! Kaiya had a preschool science class in the morning at the Science Center. It was all about the beach and ocean. She got to touch a pencil top sea urchine, and two star fish. She loved it.
On the way home, we stopped in at the Chinese Cultural Center to see if there was any Chinese New Year Celebrations going on. There was, Kaiya was tired. So we made a quick round of the booths and then went to the gardens. I think that Kaiya loves the gardens for the fish factor.
We stopped in a store to get a new dress, but the one she liked they had in every size but hers! We were sad! I was tempted to see if her traditional new year costume from a few years ago would fit! At times like these, it sure would be nice to have a connection in Hong Kong in the form of Grammy and Granddad!! But, we are glad they are here with us!!
