He Knows I Am Here!

I have had one of those week where the Lord simply restates all the things I already knew, but had forgotten. Not to mention made me very aware the He knows you are there, hears you, and is very aware of what you need!! I had lots of impressions during General Conference at the beginning of April that it was just for me. As I have been listening to the talks again, and reading my scriptures . . . I have become keenly aware of just how for me they are!!

I have so many good ones that I could just share . . . but, I don't want to waste your time! I will say, I have done a lot of "what did I do to have to go through this" type attitude lately! Here is the talk I read last Friday as I was truly down in the dumps over life . . . . just a few sentences!!!

"That trial has not been a problem . . . when we live righteously and have received the ordinances of the temple, everything else is in the hands of the Lord. We can do the best we can, but the final outcome is up to Him. We should never complain, when we are living worthily, about what happens in our lives.

What I am trying to teach is that when we keep the temple covenants we have made and when we live righteously in order to maintain the blessings promised by those ordinances, then come what may, we have no reason to worry or to feel despondent."

I had a very wise Mission President continually tell me, "All Flesh is in the Lord's Hands." And, I thought I understood what he was telling me. However, Elder Scotts talk created another level of understanding. It took away my feeling of having done something to make Heavenly Father give me my trails. While I am not perfect, I know that I did my best during the times I was in!! And now, my thoughts have turned to, live to keep my covenants and remember I am where the Lord want me to be at the moment. There is something to learn from this and truly, ALL FLESH is in the Lord's Hands.
