Just can't get any better!

We have continued to have a fabulous week! My mom has always gone out of her way to plan fun and exciting things for her grandgirl(s) to do when visiting! Earlier this week, she took them to the Youth Museum, I was not invited along! However, they had a fabulous time! With the continued schedule of swimming a couple of times a day, there just isn't enough hours in the day! The girls got to sleep out on the trampoline the other night. It worked out perfect for me because I have a friend moving to Detroit, MI and was invited to a little get together with friends. So, instead of hunting down a babysitter, Kaiya went and slept on the trampoline! I snagged a picture when I arrived back home! I was the designated sleep inside incase granddad needs something person! Happy to oblige, it is the least I could do!

Today, we woke the girls up at 6:10 a.m. and headed to the zoo! Our planned departure time was 6:45 a.m. as to arrive when the gates opened at 7 a.m. However, upon arriving at Grammy's to pick up the other half of the crew a few things still needed taking care of. We got lost taking the "back way" to the zoo, finally arrived about 8 a.m. We have a fabulous day! By noon, we were done with all the excitement of the zoo and headed home! We ate our lunch in the car on the way back! Then, we all took a nap!

The highlights of the zoo were:
- Feeding the giraffes! A new exhibit, extra money but well worth it! Especially since we all got in for free! The girls loved it!
- Riding the Camel! Who doesn't like to ride on a camel? M1 did say she was glad it was over becasue it hurt her tush!
- The splash cavern wasn't as big of a hit as I thought it would be!

Overall, we had a great time at the zoo!

Thanks for the fun evening guys! We really need to get together more often then when someone is home visiting or someone is moving away!!!

** A few people asked what happened to Granddad! He tore a ligament in his ankle and needed surgery to repair it. However, during the surgery, they discovered he had done damage to his cartlidge between getting the MRI and the surgery. So, they fixed that too! He is mending and will hopefully be doing better soon! Thanks for your concern!

Thanks for keeping me posted on all the fun. It makes me sad I'm not there, but I know you are all doing a great job. I hope they want to come home!

Those bandanna pants are so dang cute! I"m going to order some from you! I have to admit this: I never knew that you sewed! I feel like a looser friend, never knowing that! I love to sew and wish I had more time to do it! Have you had a lot of people order them? You should set up a site on etsy, I love that site!
