4th of July

We had a interesting 4th. We went to Utah for a friend's funeral. It was a beautiful service, and a true testament to the person he was and the life he led. We will truly miss seeing him yearly at Henry's Lake Weekend. Nothing like celebrating a life lived well, to bring contemplation and desire to be better, and live your own well.

We had a lovely 4th of July weekend!!

Kaiya did what all young children do, she headed straight for the "Goldfish" booth at the park. She won 3 goldfish by tossing 3 out of 5 balls into little floating bowls. We have placed the goldfish in a water trough at the Brown's Diamond J. Now, we have "pets" strewn from AZ to Idaho!! Still hearing, "I miss those fish, do you miss my fish, Mom?" I cannot tell her the truth, NO! I do not miss those fish! I am glad I do not have to deal with the fish or the changing of fishy water, or the impending death of said goldfish!! I do not miss those fish, I do not, do not miss those fish!!!
