Snow in JULY??

Yesterday, Kaiya and I were awake early!! She remembered earlier in the week I mentioned snow at the zoo. I had totally forgotten about it, and check quickly to see if it was the day. Sure enough. So, we quickly got ready, jumped in the car for an early morning trip to the zoo. We had fun throwing snowballs at each other! However, I was told that it wasn't fun when I threw back, only she could throw them! Ha ha! I don't think so!!! About 45 minutes in, she tired of the snow and we hit up the splash zone! Only here could you visit the Zoo, play in snow and hit the water feature on the same day!!! After a few minutes of the water feature, she was thirsty! I was not going to spend money on water, so we headed for the snow cones! We enjoyed our snow cones with a leasurely walk by all the animals on the trail between the snow cone booth and our car! It was quick, HOT, busy trip to the zoo, but we sure had fun!!!
