New Years Eve day our family friends had us over for a carriage ride thru the neighborhood with them! They had lots of fun! Not, this family friend is often mistaken for Grammy's sister, and the entire time Grammy was on her mission Kaiya thought "Nana Helen" was Grammy!! She doesn't remember it now, but she did!! I have to giggle when I think about the times Kaiya asked to go see Grammy.
Grammy had all the girls over for a sleep over on New Years Eve! They all had a nap in the afternoon so that they would be able to make it to midnight. They also got to eat pizza and all the sugar they wanted starting at 8 p.m. I have to say I am quite impressed that the girls weren't sugar hogs, they ate some but not as much as I thought they would having free reign! After dinner and sugar loading up, they played games and watched a movie. Once midnight hit, they all went in the front yard with noise makers and blew them as loud as they could! Grammy armed herself with a metal pan lid and hit the front yard banging it with a spatula! They had lots of fun!
