Back in September of 2009, Kaiya kept asking to go to Disneyland. I of course was in no position to make such a trip. So, I told her maybe for Christmas! Christmas came, and while I had started to save a little money for a trip to Disneyland, I was no where near being able to afford it. So, Christmas passed, and she brought up Disneyland again! I told her maybe we could go for her birthday. She was up for that idea. I kept saving a little here and a little there hoping I could keep my word of a birthday trip. With saving money, and the "Give a Day, Get a Day" program Disney had this year, I was able to afford it!

In hopes to meet up with some old friends while I was there, I sent out a few e-mails seeing if I could meet them for lunch or something! I always PLAN way too much in way too little time periods! But, hey . . . without loft goals . . . we would have never reached the moon, right? Well, I got responses, and a friend asked if we'd like to stay with her and her family! I was hesitant because it has been so long since I had seen her. However, after contemplating, I realized if I took her up on her offer, I could visit with her for longer, and I could save the money from the hotel I had made a reservation with! So, thank you Mykan for letting us stay with your family! You are all so cute and fun!

After a bit of debate, I thought maybe I will do Seaworld with the money I saved from the hotel. When I noticed the weather for the days we would be there wasn't exactly BEACH weather, the idea became a bit more of a plan!! We had lots of fun! And, I got to meet up with two old friends, and meet their kids, plus one husband! So, pictures will follow! I need to edit them first . . . .
