Ok, the party was less of a bash and more of a quaint gathering of people. However, Kaiya had a great time. It was a quick planning and an easy party. We just had the GREAT Aunts and a close family friend besides ourselves. The party seemed to take on a Minnie Mouse theme. I hate cartoon character stuff, it just always seems so cheesy. However, Kaiya got to pick out her cake. Not my original intentions, but as I flipped through the pictures of the cakes in the book in Albertson's she started trying to grab a Minnie Mouse cake and saying "baby baby." Which is what she does when she thinks something should be hers. So, I ordered it up. I figure now that it beat trying to figure out what to do myself. I guess that is the joy of her developing skills to decide and communicate what she wants on her own.
Kaiya had a great time and enjoyed the entire event. She got some great gifts that she loves a lot. Most of them were lots of fun, however there was ONE that was for her essentials as a girl growing up. We hope this helps to motivate her into the right direction.
