Kaiya's TRUE 2nd Birthday

Yesterday we had quite a day. We woke up in the morning and went directly outside to play with the bubble machine at 7 a.m. That has been Kaiya's favorite thing to do since she received it as a gift from "The Greatest." It has even inspired her to learn how to say the word BUBBLE! Yes, that word appeared in our vocabulary on Monday. We are very grateful for any new word we can add to our vocabulary.

After playing with the bubbles, and putting our feet in the water, we headed out to our 2 year old well baby visit. There we learned that Kaiya is in the 95% for weight (33 lbs.) and off the chart for her height (36.5 inches). Mom didn't think ther was an immunization for this appointment and there ended up being two, one new one and a booster we thought we did need till time for school. Right after the doctor's appointment, off we went to swimming lessons. Dad came for the last 10 minutes of lessons and was very impressed with my monkey walks and my jumping off the side of the pool to mom.

That night I had another mini cake! Spoiled girl! I was able to blow the candle out this time and thought that was great. So, mom and dad sang Happy Birthday to me TWICE and lit my candle twice just so I could blow it out!

I got a package from Grammy and Granddad, that has lots of neat stuff. Including some pretty chinese shoes and a cool hat that folds up like a fan. I thought it was pretty great!
