We took Kaiya to the railroad park yesterday to ride on the train and carousel. She loved it, even if it was a little hot! We went on the train once and the entire time she waved to everyone we passed. I wish I was someone she was waving to because it would have made a cute picture. Instead I was watching her from behind. She and dad like to look at the engine. We got ice cream after and she usually will share with her dad. Yesterday was not a sharing day, she wanted her own ice cream and she didn't want dad touching it. It was funny to watch.
She has become a great teller of her falling while chasing my brother's dog story. She will say, "Arf baby down" and as she says down she "swoops" her hand like she fell. It is too funny. She was telling everyone today at church. They would just laugh at her little hand swooping across.
She is always so happy. This is evident in what a family in the ward said to us today. They were sitting behind us in sacrament meeting, at the end, they came up to us and said, "Kaiya just entertained us all sacrament. She is so fun to watch. Her face is like an open book. Everytime the music would start she got this excited look on her face. We want to just take her home with us." It is so true, her face is an open book. You can always tell what she is thinking by her facial expressions. I love it. Prasan and I often think we could just sit and watch her all day long and never get bored.
I tried doing ringlets in Kaiya's hair today for the first time ever. Let me just say, the sides looked cute. However, I need to improve my ringlet skills on the back area. I am hoping it is just that I was in a rush to get them in for church. We shall see, will plan ahead next time.
That is us for today. We hope everyone else has a wonderful Sunday.
