Don't want to bore you . . . but, I loved our trip. So, here are the last of the pictures . . . I was more video girl, my sister in law was the photo girl. So, when I get the good stuff from her I will share more . . . unless I hear LOUD PROTEST not too!!
BIG BUDDHA This is suppose to be the largest erect Buddha in the world. I have to say he was pretty big! Also, there are monsterous stairs up to him. And I was dressed in a dress with my wedge heels with just a single strap across the toe! NICE!!
Kaiya is ASLEEP in her STROLLER for this! Granddad stayed at the bottom with her! Statues at the top with the BIG BUDDHA! I also have to say the "relic" at this monastry came from Sri Lanka. Just for all you Sri Lankan out there.
View from the top of the hill.
My mom and I outside the temple at the Big Buddha.
HONG KONG TEMPLE Granddad watched Kaiya one night so that Grammy and Mom could go to the Temple together. It was a neat experience. The session was in Mongolian because several (12-17) missionaries from Mongolia were there taking out their endowments. They had all started their mission without their endowments and got to travel escorted to Hong Kong to take out their endowments. It was very cool.
Hong Kong Botanical and Zoological Garden
Ok, that is all I have for today. I am still a little jet lagged, I haven't been to bed yet today . . . I mean yesterday! Ok, I have been awake since my quick nap Sunday afternoon. Kaiya didn't fall asleep till 5 a.m. this morning. I can't seem to fall asleep! Want too, isn't happening!!

I love the pictures it really looks like you guys enjoyed yourselves. Your parents look like they are doing well. I really like the picture of the temple it is gorgeous! Did you guys have the headsets with the translation at the temple or did you just wing it?
Aww I bet you were so happy to see your parents! I LOVE all the pictures! You look great in all of them. The Temple is beautiful (well I mean they both are). I'm jealous...of your wonderful vacation & making a connection w/ your roots! Both of my parents' families come from Europe - England, Germany & Holland. I so wish I could visit there & see where my families lived. You're very lucky!
