Kindergarten!

I can't believe my Bug is in Kindergarten! She started on August 11, 2010. She loves her teacher. Loves school. When I dropped her off the first day of school, I had to park on the street since every parent in the school was there. As I am pulling up, she said, "Mom, you don't need to come with me. I can go from here." I giggled, and said "No, I need to walk to up to the school and make sure you get to the kindergarten playground safely." She was first in line to go to class when the bell rang. She was ready to go!!
But, GUESS WHO COULDN"T BE HAPPIER come the end of the FIRST DAY when I heard, "Mom, Kindergarten is too long. I miss you mom." And the sentiment hasn't changed, she misses me! We have been two peas in a pod for quite some times!! So, not only is it an adjustment to go from 2 hours 4 days a week , to 7 hours 5 days a week . . . but, from being constantly with mom to gone mostly!! She did look cute!I am certain her teacher thinks she has a butterfly fascination, since everything she wore the first week had butterflies on it!!
