Kaiya had a super fabulous morning. They recognized her birthday today at Pre-k! She loved all the festivities, which included being the CLASS WIDE helper, she was super busy with doing calendar, leading the class in songs, doing the weather center, counting the days, holding the door, being line leader, and loved every minute of it! She was especially excited about having them sing Happy Birthday to her in Cowgirl and having her teacher TWIST her ears once for each year she is old!! Here are a few picture of the day!
Their birthday celebration is the only day they get to bring in a show and tell item. Initially, she wanted to bring in her blankie for show and tell. I presented a few other options and she settled on her doll from China and a favorite book called Chopsticks, that Grammy gave her. Kaiya has eaten at the Floating Restaurant in the book, so it is a fun way to remember her trip to Hong Kong and China. She also got to take a picture of her family and a baby picture. So, we had to revert to an old picture of the family and she couldn't choose between two baby pictures so we took both!!!

Happy Birthday Kaiya! It looks like she had a great time celebrating at school. She is adorable, Lauren said she wants to make a cake for Kaiya. I doubt it would taste good by the time it got to you, so maybe we would have to eat it :P
