Happy Birthday, KAIYA!!

I still can't believe it has been four years since my little Kaiya came into my life! The memory of your arrival is still so fresh in my mind, that it is hard to believe time has gone by so fast! You were definitely anxiously awaited for by me! I wanted to be a Mom more than anything . . . and the idea of you coming was a dream come true! Every moment with you since then has been a dream come true . . . yes, even those moment where you test my patiences! I love them because it means I have you!!

You are such a bright, happy, fun little girl! I love your endless "Knock Knock Jokes" in the morning when you wake up! Even if I spend a half hour laying in bed listening to the same joke over and over and over again . . . I love it!! You have the silliest little songs you like to make up about everything under the sky! Not to mention you are the most "helpful" little girl!!

I have to admit, I miss that little baby I use to cuddle day and night! But, I love the little person you are turning into!! I especially love all the questions you have about everything we see and do!

As always, I will do all I can do the best for you! I love you! I wish you the biggest brightest future ever! Remember you are loved no mattter what and you can do anything you want, you just have to try, try, and try again!!!

**I just have to say, I started a baby journal for Kaiya when she was born. I have always been a horid journal keeper, and my hope was that keeping it for her would change that! Well, it didn't! That journal is still pretty empty! I was beating myself up last night as I flipped through the pages! Well, I got on this morning to her babysite and this site and realized, I have a journal for her! It just isn't in traditional form! Really does it matter how I kept it, as long as I have things written down?? So, I will quit beating myself up over that journal, and may ressume posting her more often, especially since this is the only journaling I do!!

I also have to say, it is amazing how "photo happy" we have become as a society. However, I realized the other day, largely it is due to blogging! And while some have issues with their spouses or others blogging, really they should be GRATEFUL! Grateful that their spouse is TRULY just journaling their life for their POSTERITY!!! If it hadn't been for a BLOG, Kaiya would have only 10 -15 journal entries about her life to age 4!

So, to all you BLOGGERS I say, "KEEP JOURNALING in the BLOG WORLD!!!"
