Easter Morning

Kaiya woke up at 6:10 a.m. and came into the room announcing the Easter Bunny had been to our house! I was able to convince her to spend another 40 minutes trying to sleep . . . but, that was it! We got up and I got one picture of her with her basket before she ripped into it! She quickly went through each little peice, without opening them, and then said, "I don't like this stuff, I wanted CANDY!!" Not the response I expected at all . . . so, I offered to give the good to another more appreciative little girl! That didn't bother her at all . . . so, I packed them up in a grocery bag and hid them from her. That disturbed her for a moment, but that was the end of it! I know, I am a horrible mother!! Really, if you aren't going to be grateful and/or show any interest at all, then lets just not have it at all! We got ready for Church and headed out!

After Church, we went to Grammy and Granddad's for a Easter dinner with Uncle Cary too! I brought the grocery bag of good along, just incase she decided she was interested and thankful. Sure enough, she decided! We spent the rest of the afternoon playing with her disc shooting gun, bouncy ball.

Thank you for the honesty and the comment. I guess I never realized that by me teasing my sister would ever really offend anyone. I'm sorry I offended you from my wedding video, you must have thought I was a real "B". You know in all honesty, I was truly jealous of Ginger while she was on her mission. Ask Ginger, I had always planned on serving a mission. Marriage took me by surprise. I think I held up my wedding ring finger and asked Ginger if is she was jealous. I really didn't mean it in a witchy way, I was jealous of her and at the time I was being recorded it was very awkward for me and that was one of the only things I could think of to say.
I know Ginger met some amazing people on her mission and you were one of them. She made some wonderful lasting friendships.
Your daughter is so pretty. It looks like you had fun Easter.
How are things going for you ?
