I love my parents! I love how no matter how busy they are, they always find time to spend with Kaiya. During the three weeks they were here before leaving again, they had so much to get done. However, they were always insistent that they get time with Kaiya.
The night before they left, I was at their home from about 1p.m. till 4 p.m. helping the "pack." Basically, it was a "Nan, should I take this? Will this be OK in Hawaii? What about this?" Kaiya was ready to help! Really, the last thing you need is a 3 year old helping during this process, but they were HAPPY to have her! We left to cook dinner and my parent said they would be by later.
They arrived about 7:20 p.m., with packing still to do, among a list of other things they would like done before leaving. Instead of dropping by for a quick goodbye, they did what the do best, the stay for a while. Kaiya wanted them to play a game with her and they did.
I guess I love how even if my parents have a billion things of importance to get down, they will put that aside and spend time with their grandchildren. This is how my parents have been for every grandchild they have! I love them for it! And their grand girls love them for it!!

such a fun family. It is so great that your parents are so thoughtful and kind. That's probably where you get it from. Kaiya is so beautiful. We don't live that far away from each other. We should get together sometime. Talk to you soon.
Ah, that makes me jealous and kinda sad. My parents won't be around for my first little one :( You do have great parents and how exciting for them to go to another place to serve. You have yet another reason to travel :)
I will forever think of you, my asian friend, whenever I walk into Paisley's room....
I'm still waiting for my email...
