Goal Update

Ok, I am going to report! Since my post about my goal of losing weight and getting healthy, here is the progress I have made!!

-Oreos - are still GONE and have not reentered the house since I disposed of them 12 days ago.
- Food Journal - I continue to keep it sporadically! I need to get a little better.
- Exercise - since my last post I have exercised all but 2 days, with the exception of Sunday. Sunday is a day of rest even from exercise!!


About 5 days into my GET HEALTHY routine, I added something NEW! I am cutting out ALL REFINED SUGARS and WHITE FLOUR!! Everything has to be whole wheat / whole grain and have no added sugars! I thought I would totally die! However, I am doing really well! Might I add, it is amazing how much of our food has SUGAR added to it!! I have some new favorites . . .

I love WHOLE WHEAT SPAGHETTI! I am also enjoying the WHOLE GRAIN tortillas, as well as my sudden burst in ENERGY!!

That was one of the most immediate things I discovered! I usually hit a big SLUMP around 2 p.m. and need a nap terribly!! Since cutting out the refined sugar and the white flour, upping my water intake, and exercising, I haven't had a mid afternoon SLUMP!!

According to the scale this morning have have lost 4 lbs. in the 12 days, but what is most important, I already FEEL so much BETTER!!! And, I am setting a good example for my daughter! That was part of my motivation! I want her to have a healthy self image and life style.

Well, that is my report! I know you probably don't care at all, but I feel like this is helping to keep me accountable to someone else!! So . . . . THANK YOU FOR LENDING an EAR!!!
