Preschool Antics

I volunteer in Kaiya's classroom on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Today, I forgot, but stayed with wet hair, no make up and my grubby clothes (t-shirt and jeans). I am a little bit embarrassed but am glad I was there!!

During my time, there was a FUNNY little conversation that occurred! I had to giggle! It was the end of the day and the kids were doing centers. Kaiya was over by herself doing block because that is what she likes. Soon, a little boy in her class joined, we will call him Don. The following conversation occurred:

Don: Do you have a boyfriend?
Kaiya: No
Don: can I be your boyfriend?
Kaiya: NO, KYLER is my BOYFRIED!!

I had to laugh! Is that not a total girl thing to do. Play it smooth, find out what they want and then tell them the truth!! I had to giggle! I hope little "don's" heart isn't broken!
