THIS GIRL- great example of CHARITY!

I have to brag on this beautiful girl today! She asked me a week ago to please come have lunch with her at school. So, we plotted for this Friday, I would bring lunch, we would sit and eat our lunches together. I would get to meet some of her new friends, and she could feel special!!

I arrived, I couldn't imagine a BIGGER smile on her cute little face! I got our lunches out, and she introduced me to some of her new friends. She told me who the boy was that is teasing her at school. We reviewed what she would say next time he teases her, and if it doesn't stop what to do next. We talked about what she should do if someone else is being teased. She is such a smart girl! We finished our lunch, and she asked me to stand by her in line.

As we lined up, she went to an aide announced, "THIS IS MY MOM!!" I savor that she isn't ashamed of who I am, and so excitedly want to announce who I am! After that, the aide gave me the best compliment a mom could ever hear about their child. It started out like many other compliments, she told me how special Kaiya is, and how she is so considerate! I told her "I like her a lot, she is such a good kid." Then, is when my tears came, tears of joy and pride in my daughter!! She said, "Kaiya is so nice. She is nice to everyone. We have a little girl who is awefully shy, and often isn't included. Kaiya will always play with her, and will make sure she is included!" She then introduced me to the little girl, who has some disabilities. I gave Kaiya so many hugs and kisses, and told her how proud I was of her and that I hope she was always so nice to others!! She was so proud, and I was also!!
