Easter was lots of fun this year. Yes, I am back tracking. I got a few cute pictures of Kaiya. We started the celebration by dying easter eggs with Grammy and Granddad on Saturday night. Kaiya enjoyed doing the easter eggs just as she did last year.
Expert, careful, and coordinated egg dyer
She was super excited to find the Easter Bunny had come and brought her some goodies in her hand me down easter basket. I love that I have my easter basket to pass on to her.
Checking out her LOOT!!
Easter Sunday was a big day. We attended our new ward. We feel like we are really going to like it. The people were very friendly. We were a little nervous because the ward we went to at my parents house couldn't be beat!! So, the new ward has a lot to live up to! Kaiya also got to wear her easter dress. She was really excited because she picked it out and guess what? It was her favorite COLOR - - PURPLE!!!
"Mom, I don't want my picture taken!!!" Loved the DRESS but, didn't want a document of it!!
After Church, we went to Grammy and Granddad's house to show our Easter dress, eat Easter dinner, and of course an EASTER EGG HUNT!! Kaiya had lots of fun hunting eggs. She was very much into opening them as she found them. At one point, she did a little dance and sang, "Haa haa money" when discovering one egg had money in it. She has gotten really big on putting money in her piggy bank as of late! Which is great for us because we are hoping to add it to the college fund!
You would have thought she was racing someone for the eggs! There she GOES!!!
Excitement over what the prize will be inside!!
Stashing the MONEY for her PIGGY BANK!!

Lauren opened every egg as she found it too. Unfortunately her Easter Bunny doesn't bring her money, although it may in the future I think it is a great idea!!!
