We Have MOVED!!!

Ok, I am in the middle of a mess! We moved on March 17, well we started the move. We have all our furniture in. I am still making trips each day for new things my mom finds in her house. I have this one disclaimer however, if my mom doesn't remember it, she decides it is mine! And, contrary to her belief, not everything she gives me is mine. Not to mention all my stuff from H.S. is still there! I have learned from my mom to SAVE EVERYTHING!! Get this, I FINALLY threw out all the corsages from all the H.S. dances, all the leis from Hawaii, and will soon be sorting out LETTERS dated since 1992!! I gave away a foam MVT foam TORO giant hand yesterday to a kid who goes there now! What was I thinking!! I guess you can't blame me too much for my H.S. still being that, I hadn't lived in Mesa let along that house for 10 year, left in August of 1996 and only stopped in for visits until August of 2006!

I have decided that moving is a good thing. Yes, it is stressful! Yes, it is a pain in the neck, back, head, and other body parts. However, it is great for realizing how much STUFF you have and HOW LITTLE OF IT YOU ACTUALLY NEED!! My realization of this has been exaggerated by the fact that all my stuff has been in storage for the last 18 months while I house-sat my parents house. Now, I am finding I have more things that are of no use to me than I ever imagined! Which leads to my next announcement. . .

WE ARE HAVING A GARAGE SELL!! Yep, we are!! It will be this Saturday, April 12, 2008. If you want more information, e-mail me at Janan1978@aol.com (don't want tell anyone where live in PUBLIC). Trust me, I will have lots of goodies! Including the following: a futon, VCR, CLOTHES (mostly woman SIZE 10 going for $3-$5), some baby clothes, lamps, shelving units, juicer, framed art, picture frames, and lots more that my TIRED OF MY MESS BRAIN CAN'T process at the moment! But, the BIGGER BONUS IS - - it is a HOA COMMUNITY WIDE GARAGE SELL DAY!! YIPPEE!! So, if I don't have a treasure for you, one of the more than 60 homes in the neighborhood might!! The stuff I am getting rid of isn't junk, most of it is stuff I just never use (wedding presents had I been smarter I would have just returned them 5 years ago for the MONEY!!). So, stop by!! Tonight I am trying to find all the stuff I found a home for just to get it out of my way! I think the HOA drove past and saw the third bay garage full and thought, "WE WILL HELP THOSE POOR PEOPLE." So, if you are a size 10 (wish I was still, probably won't ever be again - - that is what marriage did for me!!), come see my wardrobe, need a futon I have one, a juice (it has only been used once), just come check us out.

OH! I was going to post pictures of our home. However, there is only one room that is "picture quality" at this time (meaning not boxes cluttering it up, but not picture hung yet either).Wish me luck, I want to be done by the end of the week!!I will add pictures of the rooms once they are not cluttered!! I finally went bold like I always wanted too!!

Doesn't it feel great to get rid of clutter and things you don't need anymore! Moving into a smaller house has been good for me I have been making weekly trips to the goodwill. I realized how much I like things simplified while we were packing. Good luck with getting everything unpacked!
