Obsessions

Kaiya has developed a MAJOR OBSESSION with the movie MULAN!! Yes MULAN. It use to be a SUNDAY thing. I am not kidding. Every Sunday when we got home from Church she would want to watch MULAN. I must BLAME it initially on my FRIEND KARINA because only she had it available when we were at her place. Then, mom got smart and realized it was in a box in the Grammy's garage. Well, in the last 3 days, it has become a watch Mulan OVER and OVER again! Now, don't get me wrong . . . I love the show MULAN! With my Chinese heritage it was rather cool when it first came out to go see it in theatres and get a little insight DISNEY style into my cultural heritage. Heck, they even call out my family surname in the scene when they draft men to war, "The YEE family." Yet, in its 50th run in a row at my house, I have become a little MULAN RESISTANT! So, this is what having KIDS old ENOUGH TO VOICE THEIR MOVIE CHOICE IS LIKE! Being sick, I am caving to her desire to keep her resting on the couch!
