Funk of the JUNK and NO Discipline

I have to report that I had a WEEK of ZERO DISCIPLINE in my food intake! It all started on Monday night last week . . . we watched Horton Hears a Who for family home evening and ate NACHOS for dinner . . . we are talking tortilla chips, refried beans, jalapenos, salsa, guacamole . . . you get the pictures!!! That just began a long week of finishing off things like OREOS!! Kaiya begged for a bag and I got her one. I am sure I ate more of them than she did!!! It just goes on and on!

Super bowl SUNDAY was no exception! Prasan made Coconut toffee . . . I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies . . . friends brought over homemade guacamole, chips, soda pop, and all! We munch to FULLNESS before DINNER was even made!! Prasan cooked Aloo Gobi and Chicken with Green Mango Curry . . . along with delicious CHICKPEAS!!! Yummy!! I ate way too much!!!

And I am paying for it!! I GAINED back 3 POUNDS and have had a MISERABLE stomach ache for the past 4 days! So, I have come to the conclusion that my body does NOT like sugar anymore!!! Except it does taste great!! And, really . . . those 3 pounds weren't even worth it!!! I could have been down possibly 40 lbs by now . . . but, no . . . I had to have ZERO DISCIPLINE this week!! So, I was down 35 lbs but am now at 32 lbs total lost!!! GRRRrrrrrrr!!!! I have learned that gratification in the moment is not always great with what you want in the long run!!! You'd think I would have learned that by now!!!

TOTALLY WORTH EACH OF THOSE 3 POUNDS!!!

Coconut Toffee??? Seriously? Who could resist.
