Full Moons

Ok, I was just reading Alyssa's blog and well I commented about the full moon at my house! Figured everyone would get a good laugh at this naughty moment!

Monday night, I awake to a little voice from the hallway saying, "Mom, I go pee pee in my bed." I get out of bed with the sigh, "Kaiya, it is fine. It is in your pull . . . " Yes, my sentence came to a complete stop as I see a FULL MOON SHINING in the HALLWAY!! I didn't worry yet because she can get her pull up off by herself. Upon turning on the light, I discover a completely DRY Night time PULL UP on the floor and a bed SOAKING WET with pee pee! Yes, she woke up to go pee pee. But, instead of getting me or heading to the bathroom, she decided to disrobe and wet down the sheets!! I am grateful that she was wise enough to wet down the sheets and not the carpet! O Wise Kaiya! These are the moment when I really want to LAUGH OUT LOUD, but can't because I don't want to encourage the behavior! Anyway, that was our funny potty story!

Needless to say, I shared a good giggle with Grammy! And now, I have one more story to arm myself with when that first boy comes to visit!! I love that little girl! Who ever thought a wet bed in the middle of the night would be so funny!

So,we are working on night time potty training with Kaiya. She is 100% awake and nap time trained, but the night is another story! Mostly my lazy bones of getting out of bed in the middle of the night to slowly work up to holding it in all night. Anyway . . . thank you Alyssa for reminding me of this funny!!
