Subbing

Ok, the last two days in the classroom weren't bad at all! I have to say, it is really weird to me how excited I was once I got there to be back in a classroom. Yep, it felt like a second home, even if it wasn't mine.

The kids were all third graders! Let me just say a few things:

1 - I HATE TATTLE TALERS!! And that seems to be what THIRD GRADE IS ABOUT!!
2 - Third Graders now know a LOT MORE about THINGS than I knew
(example: Third grade boy says: "Mrs. D, girls go to the bathroom more because they have more than one things to take care of, they have, well you know." Are you kidding me - - you know about that time of the month?? YIKES!!)
3 - Oh brain stinker! I lost my thought!!


So, I also realized I LOVE TEACHING - - but I HATE GRADING PAPERS!! If I could teach without GRADING PAPERS I would be in HEAVEN!!! Substituting is perfect execpt for the GRADING PAPERS part is STILL INVOLVED! YUCK!!! It was fun.

I have another job on Monday at an Elementary where most of my friends kids go. So, all you Girls Night Out mom's . . . I will be terrorizing the third graders at your ELEMENTARY!! Haaa haaa haa! Just kidding!! Should be fun!

Only other bad thing . . . WE HAVE TERMITES AT OUR HOUSE! They were suppose to be treated today, AnDDAD (a.k.a. my Dad) was suppose to come let them in. But, guess who forgot to come? Yep, Anddad didn't show up . . . so, I am stuck with NASTY TERMITES until TUESDAY!! YUCK!!!
