CAT!! Yes, a CAT PERSON I am not! However, it seems that our first pet is a CAT!!! I was never a CAT person . . . I am a dog lover, especially a cocker spaniel dog lover!
It seems this little kitty kat has joined our family. This is Tiger, one of my parents ranch cats from Idaho. It gets too cold for the cats to stay at the ranch during the winter and catch mice, so they had to find a winter home. This little kitty found us! Each of the girls was offered to keep their cat for the winter, however I have a sneaking feeling it may be longer . . . if the cats stick around. So, M1 took Milo, M2 got Sweetie Pie, and Kaiya got Tiger! We have done the whole invest in a cat dance, bought the litter box, feeding dish, collar, tag, and a cat leash! I know . . . I didn't know they had cat leashes. So, our life as a cat family begins. Wish us luck! Kaiya is so excited to have Tiger here. She feel asleep in the car on the return from getting Tiger's tag, but woke up long enough to make sure Tiger had been fed before passing out in her bed!!
Luckily, our family vet, Uncle C VET, took care of the spay/neuter for us. So, here we are with this cat! Wish us lots of luck!! Kaiya is loving it. To our first pet! Tiger, isn't so sure about the CITY . . . I think she/he (UNCLE C VET, what is he/she?) trying to figure out what all these weird noises are that she is hearing. Such as the skateboard on the sidewalk down the street, sort of made her a little leery and didn't want to move. She is use to the sounds of the country, cows, horses, a truck, 4 wheelers, and etc. We will see how she adjust . . . and if Tiger is a he, well . . . it takes a REAL MAN to WEAR PINK!! She/he isn't so sure of this thing called a collar, tag, and bell that she now has around her neck! It seems to be entertaining her as she gnaws, bits, and paws at it! I am sorry little kitty, from the neck loose fancy freedom of a ranch, the the tight collared world of the city . . . I hope you adjust well!!
And, I had to post the CAMOU that finally won her over!! We have had lots of offers of camouflaged clothing for her over the past 4 - 5 months. But, all were turned down, even the pink camouflage! However, this we loved because it says, "I'm hiding from you" and she thinks it is funny!!! P.S. if you can't find Kaiya it is because she is HIDING FROM YOU!!

Good Luck! As much as Kaiya loves the little thing, I hope you do too! Is she an in-house or out-house pet?
I'm about at my wits end with our house dog... the shedding, the bad breath, the constant stand and stare at me for food.... GRRRRRRR
I really can't wait to see how you like having Tiger around! :)
You're right. Only real men wear pink. Tiger (not Tiger Lilly) was a he. He got neutered on Tuesday on the way to his new home. Lucky little guy. Just don't give him a complex and call him "her". ;-)
