Yep, it is still Christmas at our house!! I do have to say, I have all the nativities put away . . . most little knick knack decorations are gone! However, there is one BIG thing in the family room that I just don't have the motivation to deal with yet . . . the CHRISTMAS TREE!!! The thought of locating all the ornament boxes, placing them in their rightful box, then packing them away is just too daunting right now!
I have to get it done because if we want any sort of Chinese New Year this year, we MUST get this Christmas down and the CHINESE UP!! Aaah! Chinese New Year is on January 26th if you forgot!
Which speaking of . . . why is it that the desk calendars include Eid Al Fitr, Canadian Thanksgiving, and a bunch of other nations holidays . . . but, we do not include CHINESE NEW YEAR?? Hello!! Oh well! Good thing we have the internet! Not sure what our celebration will be . . . for sure a money envelope for Kaiya! Maybe I will again attempt my mom's true fried rice recipe! It has never turned out for me . . . but, hers is delicious! Oh well!
Well, I better be off to that daunting task of Christmas tree removal! Do any of you still have your Christmas tree still up?? Am I the only really big slacker?? My defense right now . . . I was gone for the end of Dec. and the beginning of January! How long do you leave your tree up for??

Well unfortunately we still have our Christmas tree not put away yet. It is in the box, not the real one of course. I can't for the life of me get Dale to put it in the garage.
