Hawaii Swapmeet, Blow Hole, and Sandy Beach 12/27/2008

The best way to start any vacation in Hawaii is to go to the SWAP MEET on DAY ONE if possible . . . or avoid buying any "generic Hawaii souvenirs" until you have been there! Why? Well, you will find the BEST PRICES at the SWAP MEET on most of the things you want for SOUVENIRS!! We lucked out and our first full day in Hawaii was a Saturday, so we hit the swap meet . . . not as early as we intended, but early enough!! Items up for purchasing . . . Aloha Dresses, and anything thing else that suited our fancy! Here are the girls ready for their SWAP MEET experience!!!


After the swap meet, we drove home via the south shore and hit up the Blow Hole and Sandy Beach! I discovered on this drive, I didn't remember the island roads as well as I thought I would! Oh well!! We spent about 10 minutes tops at the blow hole . . . and headed to Sandy Beach! Picture of the blow hole . . .


Sandy Beach, was busy as usual! The intent was to put the girls feet in the water since we BRILLIANTLY didn't bring swim suits on this road trip! I was a little against the feet in the water bit because of the wave size . . . Pictures of that fun trip to Sandy Beach . . . a couple got more than their feet wet as you can see in pictures!!!
