Hawaii 12 - 26-2008 Temple and Power Outage!

These post are for journaling purposes! Feel free not to read them . . . but, I am still stuck on figuring out how to print my blog in the form of a book!!

Arrived in Hawaii to Grammy at the baggage claim - nearly didn't recognize her since she blended so well with the locals in her Hawaiian attire! Met dad at the curb and took M1 and him to the "rent a wreck." (I really needed to get pictures of this car! Let's just say the outside looks great! It is the interior and functioning of other things that, well . . . needs some work! It would definitely fit the word "PIECER" that we like to use!)

Drove to Wal-mart for a few necessaries . . . nail polish, no visit with Grammy is complete without getting every nail colored with some nail polish! Yes, we did get some other things like diapers, swim suit (someone forgot theirs, won't name names!!), and a few other things!

Headed to Kahuku, Kuilima Estates (by the Turtle Bay Resort, but no part of it), munched on dinner. Visted.

Went to the Temple to see the tree displays, and of course see the TEMPLE!!


POWER WENT OUT!! Approximately 7p.m., (SIL, do you think that is the time??) and remained out until 4:20 a.m. on the 27th of December, or the next morning!! YIPPEE!! This wasn't a COUNTRY (Kahuku and Laie are country in Hawaii) outage we learned the next day, but an OAHU OUTAGE!! All lights, fans, T.V. came back on . . . initially I thought it was Grammy trying to get us up for the day!
